George Washington Bridge Run

If you’re getting ready for the Jersey City Marathon later in April, here’s a great training challenge. Join Jersey City locals Sunday April 2 as one of three waves of runners who will cross the George Washington Bridge beginning at 7 a.m. Runners will begin at the Grove Street PATH Station and make their way across the bridge for a total of about 14 miles, with options to add more miles once you enter NYC. Plantopia

Jersey City Marathon
Where: Newport Green Park, 14th Street, Jersey City
When: Sunday, April 23. 2023, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.
The biggest of Jersey City spring marathons, the Jersey City Marathon, is set for Sunday, April 23, 2023. The marathon begins at Newport Green and will take runners through Jersey City’s waterfront, Powerhouse Art District, Historic Paulus Hook, through Liberty State Park, down Caven Point Road, then through Bergen and Greenville communities.
