So you’ve spent some time in Vantage Collection’s Golf Suite, a full-service golf simulator, and you think you’re ready to play on the links of Jersey City? Whether you’re playing a socially distanced game with friends at Hoboken Golf’s simulator or heading outdoors to play at Liberty National Golf Club, Jersey City offers world-class courses with unrivaled views of Manhattan and Lady Liberty herself.
Here are two local places golfers have got to try in Jersey City.
Liberty National Golf Club
The pros love this course. With approximately 65,000 square feet of clubhouse space and a course that even Phil Mickelson has called fun and “unlike any golf course in the world,” this is a course with a challenging setup that offers a lot of risk and reward, according to none other than Nick Price.
The course also offers a lot of perks including spa service, a fitness center, and you can even fly your helicopter to the course or reserve the Liberty National boat for a trip across the Hudson.
Skyway Golf Course
A 9-hole course off Duncan Ave. This course may not be quite as famous as Liberty National but it is host to one of the most unique course layouts in the region. Set in the shadow of the Pulaski Skyway with panoramic vistas of the Manhattan skyline, try this course and you’ll soon find out why it’s a Jersey City fan favorite.
